Debra Foster believes every family deserves access to affordable, quality healthcare. She supports expanding healthcare access across Alabama and strongly supports Medicaid expansion to protect rural hospitals and create jobs. Debra will also work to increase funding for mental health services and addiction treatment so families can get the care and support they need.

Strong public schools are essential to strong communities. Debra supports fully funding public schools, reducing classroom overcrowding, and increasing teacher pay to attract and retain top talent in Alabama classrooms. She will also invest in workforce development and technical training programs to prepare students and workers for good-paying careers.

ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT

Debra is committed to creating economic opportunities that improve quality of life for working families. She supports recruiting industries that provide high-paying jobs and investing in infrastructure, including roads, bridges, water systems, and broadband. Debra also supports increasing the minimum wage so working people can earn a quality life.
